About

Kyle Crawford

VISUAL STORYTELLER

Kyle Crawford graduated from Ball State University during spring 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. He is currently working at U.S. Army Cadet Command (USACC) as a public affairs specialist. Kyle enrolled in the USACC PAO recent graduate pathways program following two summers as a student intern for Army ROTC Cadet Summer Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Since grade school, Kyle has practiced both the technical and creative skills in his visual storytelling endeavors. He quickly gained a reputation for photographing sports, events, and people while studying at BSU. During his time at college, he has gained experience from the scholastic newsrooms at BSU and as a staff photographer for his college’s athletics program.

Today, Kyle works with and learns from a team of experienced public affairs staff. Over the past two years he has produced content and messaging for several national communication efforts. He has also covered seven Army ROTC Ranger Challenges, the Army JROTC National Drill and Fitness Competition, and has traveled to Washington D.C. in support of the annual Association of the United States Army Conference.

Kyle looks forward to continuing his work within the USACC PAO trainee program and many years of service as an Army civilian employee.
